Cancun Day One and Two

 To celebrate my graduation, we took everyone to Cancun! I was the one that graduated, but it was a whole family effort. There is no way I could have done it without the support and help from Scott and the boys. So, to celebrate our accomplishment, we went to Cancun for a week. It was our first ever vacation that wasn't to visit someone and we had a really great time. Getting there and planning was a lot of work, but it was totally worth it. 

Day One was a travel day. We drove to SLC on Tuesday, so we could fly out early Wednesday morning. From Salt Lake we flew to Dallas and then to Cancun. The flights were easy and we didn't have complications. We all got to sit together and it was fun to watch my boys enjoy the flight. 

We landed in Mexico and drove about 30 minutes to our resort. We were shocked how dirty Mexico is and I immediatly thought we made the wrong choice. I wanted to go home and was nervous to spend a whole week in a foreign country. That all changed when we got to our Resort.

 It was lovely and our villa was perfect. Out the back door, we had a patio with a jucuzzi that opened up to a small patch of grass. Off the grass was a small stair case that lead directly to the beach! We were beach front and it was magical. The pool was about 50 yards out our front door and the buffet was three doors down. We were in the most prime location. 

The villa had room for everyone. In the master, Scott and I had a king bed, a patio, sitting area, and full bathroom. Cache and Ky slept on murphey beds in the living room and Tayden and Beckett shared a room with two double beds. The living room had a table, with a couch and two chairs and the kitchen was full sized. It was perfect! 

The first thing the boys did when we got to the resort was run out to the ocean. It was so cool to experience the ocean for the first time with them. We spend the rest of the evening checking out the resort, eating and swimming. 

The next was a recovery day. We slept until almost noon and then just vegged the rest of the day. We ordered a ridiculous amount of room service, lounged by the pool, and prepared for the upcoming week. It was a great start to our vacation.
