Beckett had a great 7s season. He played in the city league and had the opportunity to travel and play in two Utah tournaments. He really loves this season and improved so much. From being a strong line player, he is starting to run routes and catch the ball. It's been fun for him. He got a few interceptions and even scored some touchdowns. He has the football itch and can't wait for grid kid this fall.

Car Rides with Sully
We were driving with Sully the other day and he made himself quite comfortable on Taydens lap. Gosh, we love this pup!
School Picture Proofs
We never order school pictures, but we always get a copy of the proofs. Cache's was cute, per usual, he's such a photogenic kid. Then I saw Ky's and died laughing!! He isn't smiling, but just showing his teeth and hunched over. It's just so funny!
Codas Sweatshirt
Coda got a sweatshirt from his grandma, but it turned out to be way too small. So he gave it to Cache. He felt so cool wearing it to school and his smile was just too cute not to document.
Track
Beckett participated in track this year and had lots of fun. Okay, not lots of fun. But, fun enough. He threw discus and shot put and made it to districts in both. His PR for shot was 28.7 and discus was 92.2. He did really well in his first year. I am excited to watch him grow in this sport and really hope he stays with it.
For away meets, we had to take a picture to document that Beckett was going home with us. We love this kid!

Luna and Her Bone
I bought the pups a new treat the other day and they loved them. So much so, that when they went for a ride, Luna had to bring hers along. It was cracking me up.
Gertrude
Meet Gertrude. For sewing class, Beckett was assigned to carry around a hollow egg for a week. He designed a carrier too, but I failed to get a picture of it. The egg, however, was something I wanted to remember.
Boys at Lunch
Tayden called me the other day asking if I would make pancakes for him and his friends for lunch. Of course, I agreed! They cleared the pancakes and left like a hoard of locusts. I loved every minute of it!
Grown Ups
Jeremy and Nicole Dalley came to Idaho Falls for a grown-ups-only weekend. As much as we love our kids, we had the best time without them! We are so blessed to have a great relationship with the Dalleys. All four of us get along so well and we cherish our friendship.
We went to dinner and a stand-up comic on Friday night. We stayed up too late laughing and chatting. Nicole and I hit the gym together Saturday morning, which I loved. Scott and Jeremy slept in and enjoyed a slow, easy morning. Before they went home, we went ax throwing and out to lunch.
It wasn't enough time. It never is. I love Nicole and watching our friendship continue into our grown-up lives.
