Every year, my mom gets season tickets to the Hale Center Theather in Utah. This week, she let me tag along. We watched School of Rock and it was so fun. The play was great and I loved being able to spend some extra time with my mom without having to fight my kids for her attention! Truth is, you never stop wanting to spend time with your parents! I'm grateful I had this trip with her.

Late Night Date Night
Ky was awarded a free ice cream cone for passing off a reading level at school. He has been begging and begging to redeem it, but I kept pushing him off. Then late Friday night he was needed a little mom time, so we headed out off to get it. It was way past him bedtime, but totally worth the bonding time. I love the boy!
Easter 2022
We had a great Easter this year. We attended a beautiful church service, went to the Mennears for brunch and ended the day at Packards for dinner.
I love this day that lets us reflect on the Resurection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Our greatest blessing comes from the empty tomb, and through that gift we can receive eternal live with our families. I can not think of a more loving gift from the Almighty. The older I get, the more appreciation I have for such a selfless sacrifice. I know that Jesus Christ lived and died for us. I know he rose on the third day and continues to live. He is my Savior and my brother. He is the door to through which we can live with God again. I am so blessed to know that truth.
First Fish
Tayden has been begging me to take him fishing. It was finally warm enough and not to windy, so I took him and his brothers for a quick trip down to the pond. The minute we stepped out of the van, the weather changed and the wind picked up. Just as I was getting ready to call it a day, Tayden yelled, "Fish on!" And promptly caught three fish. Beckett didn't have any luck, but per his usual, he helped with the hook. Fishing season has begun!

Jazz Day
After waiting for weeks and weeks, the Jazz Day finally came! Scott got us some great tickets at work that included playing on the court, courtside seats for warm-ups, and dinner and snacks during the game. It was such a great weekend.
After warm-ups, we headed to our skybox to have dinner and watch the game. Though we had the opportunity to sit lower, we opted to stay at the top of the stadium. The top gave us more room to move around, easy access to the bathroom, and close to the snacks. The game was really fun and the boys had a blast cheering and yelling. Kyle didn't love it, but he survived.
The boys loved playing on the court. There were a lot of people that took advantage of these tickets, so the court was pretty full. It didn't stop our boys from having fun though. They shot around and played a game of lightning. Tayden even made an NBA three-pointer! The hoop was too high for Kyle, so he had fun exploring the stadium seats and watching everyone else. It was a really neat experience.
After we played on the court, we checked in at our hotel and rode the trax back into the stadium to watch warmups and eat dinner. Ky was so excited to ride a train! It was the highlight of the whole trip for him.
The next day was just as fun. After breakfast, we headed to the pool to get some swimming in. Scott got in on the fun and the boys could not have loved it more. I love watching them play together.
We stopped at the Hill Aerospace Museum on the way home. It was so neat. Scott and I could have stayed hours looking at and reading everything. Tayden was quite interested in it as well, though that doesn't surprise me. He has always been interested in stuff like that. Luckily, the museum was doing an Easter Egg hunt that helped occupy the littler kids.
It was such a great weekend. We don't do fun things like this very often, so it was wonderful to get away and spend time together. I love this family of mine!
