Ashton Recently

Ashton this year has been a blast. We've been up multiple times to work, fish, and ride dirt bikes. Our big project has been building a lookout deck. It's been a lot of work, but is going to be amazing! Tayden has loved having my nephew, Coda, around this year. Actually, we all have. It's been so fun to share our favorite place with him! Beckett loves riding dirt bikes and even wrote an essay about why and how we could buy him one. Surprisingly, Scott agreed and after months of looking, we found one! Beckett loves it!

Packards and Turneys do Small Town USA

We got to see our great friends, the Turneys, while they were in Utah visiting family. The traveled North, we traveled South, and we met in Soda Springs, Idaho. We went on a blind adventure, never visiting our destinations before. We went fishing at Alexander Reservoir, hiked to and explored a cave, and got pizza for dinner. The whole experience was a little chaotic and not exactly what I had imagined, but being with friends was awesome. I love this family. I love watching their kids grow and hear about their lives in Las Vegas. I love that even though we've been gone twice as long as we were there, we're still friends. What a blessing the Turneys have been!

Last Color Belt

Cache had his last belt promotion before he tests to become a black belt. Taekwondo has been incredible for him and has given him so much strength, discipline, and self-confidence. He has fun in all his classes and has made great friends. We love our Southwick community.

Slice of Heaven

Tayden and Beckett running routes, playing catch with Cache, Ky kicking the soccer ball, and the dogs chasing birds. This is my slice of heaven.

Black and Whites

I took some pictures of the boys the other day and while I am no professional, these cute boys turned out some pretty great black and whites.

Tournament Time

Cache had another tournament a few weeks ago. The older he gets, the harder the competition becomes. He took second place in self-defense and performed well in his other categories. Watching him grow in Taekwondo has been so much fun!

Summer Costumes

The other day there was a knock at the door and when we answered it, there was a band of misfit costumed heroes posing in the grass. We recognized Caches buddy (with his cousins) and we busted up laughing. They had been costume posing to a few friends around the neighborhood. They invited Cache and Kyle to join, so naturally I had to grab a quick picture.

Another Driver

We have another driver in the house! Tayden passed his driver's test! He's been waiting for this day for months. He had to wait a little longer because his English grade was lacking, but once he got it where it needed to be (on the last day of school), he took the test and passed with flying colors. His first solo drive was to Cabelas with Beckett to grab some fishing supplies. Since then he's driven to work, football, church meetings, running errands, and friends house. It's been amazing. I didn't know how much I would love to have an extra driver around.

End of Year

The school year has finally ended. It was a great year, but we are happy that summer is finally here.

Taydens last day as a freshman.

Beckett finished up his seventh grade year.

Cache is out of fifth grade.

Kyles finished with the third grade.
