Luna and Bella

The boys taught Luna a new trick.

They think Luna holding Bella is pretty awesome.

Football Camp

Tayden started football this week. He had camp this week and loved it! I came to pick him up and couldn’t help but laugh when I saw him walking around with his shirt off. I told him to put it back on and quit acting like he’s 14. Boy, I love this kid.

Friends

This last weekend we were so blessed to see two wonderful families from Las Vegas. We met the Turney’s in Utah for some fun and ice cream. It was great watching the kiddos pick up right off where they left, just as the moms and dads do. Beckett was especially excited to see Adam this year. He planned to be on his laser tag team and cheered the loudest for him during bowling. It was awesome.

Waiting for the Turney’s to arrive.

I love this picture of Paige and I. I have always shared a special bond with her and I’m so grateful it’s carried on over the years!

The next day, the Gages came to our house for dinner. We are so blessed they cut time out of their Idaho vacation to come spend time with us. Our boys always have fun with their boys and the parents conversation is always the best. Matt and Cori are just so easy to going and we love having them in our home. Although, we do wish it was much much more often!!

While the boys were playing outside, they got into some sidewalk chalk powder. It supposed to mix with water to make paint, but the boys... mine in particular... went to town in the chalk. They were covered head to toe, which it why Beckett is shirtless and they others have a blueish tint. After our friends left, Scott got out the leaf blower to clean up and we found a little more fun!

And I think it makes our walkway look so beautiful. I kind of never want to wash it off.

It was a great weekend. I miss our Las Vegas friends dearly, so seeing them is always such a blessing. I’m grateful we forged life long friendships with such great people!

And They Call It Puppy Love

It’s no secret that our kids love Luna. In fact, most mornings look like this...

But the other day, even cranky old Tanner wanted some love. And the boys were more than happy to comply...

And he even took it one step further and slept with Tayden...

I guess he’s finally figured out the good spot!

We sure love our pups.

Do As I’m Doing

As far as toddlers go, Scott and Ky have shared the closest bond. One of Kyles favorite pastimes is “lawn mowering” with his Daddy. And it just so happens, on of my favorite pastimes is watching them.

4th plus more

Wow!! What a couple of super fun days we’ve had!

The fun started on the Fourth of July. As always, it was a major win among our family. The parade was awesome and Ky totally got into this year! After the parade we hung around Grandma and Grandpa Greats for lunch and fun with cousins. I’ll always cherish the memories that are made under the big shade tree on a hot July day. We stopped at my parents for a quick minute on the way home and had dinner before rushing home to Idaho Falls for the big firework show. Beckett isn’t a huge fan on the big fireworks, but it wasn’t anything a good cuddle with mom couldn’t solve. It was a great day!

My moms side of the family had a little reunion over the next two days. I didn’t take pictures, but have to remember how fun it was. We went to Rigby Lake and played our hearts out. The boys loved paddle boarding and kayaking. Even Luna got in on the paddle board fun.

Friday we BBQed at my parents. The boys were in heaven with so many “cousins” to play with. (My cousins kids) They played and played their hearts out and then set up play dates before the night was over. They had a blast. My great uncle Doug cane for a little bit and told the smaller kids a story. They were enchanted by his “uncle Doug magic” and couldn’t get enough of him. It was the sweetest and I was glad a caught a quick picture.

It was a busy, but oh so fun, few days. Summer is my favorite.
