Wow! I am taking advantage of a little piece of quiet right now. I haven't had a change to update my blog since Tayden was born, and now all three of my boys (Scott, Tayden and Tanner...the dog) are asleep, so I could not ask for a better time to tell everyone was it going on. Tayden Scott Packard was born on January 25th, his original due date, weighing in at 7 lbs 13 ounces, and was 20 inches long...although his cone head gave him an advance in the height department. I was in labor for 25 hours, so the poor kid had quite the pointer. However, all things considered, he is the most perfect thing I have ever seen. I never knew how much you truely could love your own children, and I am sure it will just get more intense with each passing day. The only thing I love more than looking at him, is looking at him with his Daddy. I have much more appreciation for my husband and love seeing him in the new light as a father. He has done a wonderful job and it is evident that he loves his son. My husband will never cease to amaze me. Once I think I have him figured out...he goes and does something even more amazing. He is seriously the greatest blessing I have in my life. It is hard to realize how blessed I am. I have so many things to be grateful for....
Okay, so I was talking to some girlfriends today about blogging...and thought I should get with the times and start a blog. (at least that is what all the cool people are doing right?) This is officially my first post, and I don't really know what I am doing. But, I figure since I am due to have baby Tayden in 6 days (whoo hoo!) and so many of my friends and family are moving, now would be an awesome time to start one. I am sure I will figure out the pictures and stuff later....I hope! So any suggestions are certainly welcome and appreciated.
