These are the wonderful sisters I serve with in the Stake Primary Presidency. Traci Hansen, Deena Burke (president), and JoAnn Neff. Its incredible how quickly I came to love them and the children in our stake. I've only been in this calling for a couple of months, but I feel so settled and welcome in this calling. I know I am meant to be here. As a presidency we have attended ward conferences, helped with the Stake Primary choir, and have worked together to put together a stake initiative to help with the youth programs. I feel useful and connected in this calling. In these short months, this calling has helped my individual scripture study and prayer. It has helped me find more teaching moments with my children and given me confidence moving forward with school. I love this calling and am so grateful that I have had the chance to serve in this capacity.

Bunco Goes Hiking
My Bunco group went hiking over the weekend. We stayed the night at the Grand Targee Ski Resort and hiked to the summit the next morning. The hike was hard, but we did it, and the views at the top were totally worth it. Honestly, the scariest part was riding the ski lift down! I love having a group of friends that will go on adventures, do hard things, laugh too much, talk too much, and love whole heartly. It was a wonderfully magical weekend. Even if people stared and counted us all weekend. Apparently, a group of eight moms is a rare sight in Driggs, ID. I love this new hobby with friends!
Grid Kid
Beckett is our only grid kidder this year. His practices have been going great and his coaches are starting to utilize him in different positions like line backer and running back. He's really looking forward to this season and so am I.
Crawdad Fishing
Tayden discovered that the canal by my parents house has crawdads. A couple of minutes and meatballs later, he and Beckett and caught a handful and drew in the other boys. They spent the evening by the canal catching the buggers and having a great time. Tayden loves catching all the things, but this might be one thing that Beckett is better at! This is their new favorite spot at Grandma Mennears and I'ms sure will continue to provide core memories for these kids.
Basketball Camp
Last week was hectic. I had multiple kids running in different directions and only one me to get them there. So, I had Kyle go to basketball camp with a friend while I gone. Imagine my surprise when I went to pick them up and saw Kyle shoeless. I asked him where they were and he said, "I didn't have time to put them on!" He did the whole camp barefoot. I died laughing. Life of the last child!
High School Registration
Goofy Tayden and his buddy, Austin at high school registration. They picked out lockers and got their activity cards. It's crazy that this phase is happening, but I'm so so excited to watch him do high school.
