I love my husband. And I love, well have learned to love, that he talks in his sleep. Its hilarious. So I thought I would share the hilarity with everyone. Don't worry, I asked his permission and he gave me the go ahead. Here are a few funny instances:
...
One night I woke up dead thirsty. (haha, you can't wake up dead!) So, I got up to get a drink. In doing so, our extremely creaky fridge woke up Tayden. Scott came out to see what was going on, which was weird because he sleeps through the babe crying all the time. Anyway, our conversation went as follows?
Scott: What are you doing?
Me:Getting a drink.
Scott: Was it the voltage?
Me: The voltage?
Scott: Yeah, you know, the POWER?
Me: I think you are confused.
Scott: Me too. (Turned around and went back to bed)
...
The first month or so we were married, we had the first night time occurrence. Scott woke up, started jumping on the bed and hitting the walls and ceilings screaming, "Banana spiders! Banana spiders! They are everywhere! Get the spiders!". Pretty sure I doubted his sanity from that night forward.
...
Tayden had a horrible nightmare the other night! Scott had started to get up (I wasn't feeling that well that night, so he insisted he would be on baby duty if needed) and I was so impressed he actually remembered. He got about half way up in the bed, rolled over and said, "Ah, never mind!"
...
A few random Scottisms in the middle of the night:
"Mom, (as he looks right at me)...it is NOT the fourth of July!"
"Yeah, you know, that is just not going to work for me."
"babab dum du dum dum du du bab papa" (Drumming in his sleep?)
"Gee Wiz"
Thanks for the comedy Honey. You keep me laughing.
