Tayden asked me to take him fishing the other evening and I jumped at the chance to spend the evening with my boy. I sat out and read a book while he fished. It was awesome! We let Cache and Ky tag along and catch crawdads. It was a wonderful evening!!

Movie Night
For Christmas, my parents got us a projector and outdoor screen and we have loved putting it to use!
Adult Halloween Candy Trade
Scott and Tayden came home from golfing the other night with the biggest, goofiest smiles on their faces. Scott said, "This is like the adult Halloween candy trade!" Apparently, they found thirty golf balls on that course that day and couldn't wait to get home to trade them. It was the cutest thing!
Cookie Monster
Every morning at my gym, I look at the water damage on the ceiling and laugh. Do you see it? Its Cookie Monster!!
Painting with Grandma
Back by popular demand, Grandma Karlson opened painting lessons again this year. We paint, eat lunch, and swim in my parent's pool. It's always a fun time. But, what I love best, is that my kids get to spend quality time with my grandma. They know her and will have these memories forever.

Caches Cut
I was cutting the boys hair the other day and Cache decided he wanted a new do. I was thankful I felt confident enough in my skills to do it. He loves it, so I'm happy!
Summer Shave
Sully got shaved for the summer and looks so handsome! Although, he's not so sure about the new dog in the fireplace.
Belt Promotion
Its time for another belt promotion for Cache. He moved from green to purple and could not have been more excited. He chose Ky to be the helper this time. I love these brothers. They are the best buddies and I am grateful for their friendship.
Fourth of July
As usual, the Fourth of July was amazing this year. I love this holiday! I love the traditions we have built with Scotts family and the memories we get to make together. Beckett had the best idea to procure the most candy possible. He used the couch cover from my new couch for his candy bag. He recruited Scott and together they painted a target on it. The candy hit the target and fell into the bottom. I sat back on the porch for a few minutes and got to watch the parade from a whole new vantage point. My family enjoying the parade together. And it was the best!
Another great part of this year was Nicole and her family. They were in town and stopped by for a little bit. Tayden took Noah fishing, where they caught some great brown trout. Nicole and I had an opportunity to see an old neighborhood friend, Amanda, and we talked and caught up for quite some time. It was really great.
I love this land. I love my freedom. And I love my family.

Big Box
I got a new couch and it came in a big box. I'm not sure who was happier. Me, or the little boys that turned it into a sleepover.
Blackfoot Fireworks
Blackfoot always puts on a great firework show. And luckily for us, we can see it from my parent's backyard. We spent the evening swimming and BBQing. Then, when the sun set, we grabbed blankets and snuggled down for the show. As I sat there with my baby on my lap, in the perfect weather, surrounded by my family and listening to my family sing, "Glad To Be An American", my heart felt so content. I could have sat in that moment forever. I'm so grateful for the life I live, not only in the country but with this family. I have so much to be thankful for and I'll never stop appreciating that God blessed me so thoroughly.
