Since we've been in Idaho I've been in survival mode. Just surviving day by day until we get to go back to Las Vegas. That means most of my day to day routine has gone out the window. The basic needs--breakfast, lunch, naps, dinner--have been met, but other than that...forget it. Our letters and numbers and learning has had a major lack of presence. Unfortunately, our Book of Mormon and prayers have been less then ideal. And chores, making beds, etc have been skipping around. But, we are surviving. And we've had fun while doing so.
We've been playing at parks.
Drawing pictures of Mom and Dad. Mom's 'dots'...zits...included. Boo. Talked about a real downer.
Playing legos. Which they love.
Buying army guys at Mom's store. There is some math in that!
Practicing to be the Next American Ninja Warrior.
Taking naps on the carpet. It's much safer when the brother are running errands with Grandpa.
And playing ninja turtles with makeshift styrofoam shells from Grandmas new sewing machine.
And walking. Lots and lots of walking.
I'm excited to get back to basics at home, but happy we are surviving here!
