The Two Amigos

Okay, I know...I am posting again. I just did a post yesterday and here I sit, updating again. I guess some would classify me as obsessed, and lets be perfectly honest, I kind of am. (we have Lindsey to thank for that :) But in all seriousness, my little boy is so cute and I love to share it with everyone. I have to be that bragging mom that drives people crazy. Luckily, I know the people that are reading this love me and understand my craziness. So here is the scoop on the story I just had to post. For any of you that don't know, we have this crazy little dog that is basically our firstborn. He was our 'only child' for almost two years and is extremely spoiled. Well, since we brought Tayden home, Tanner has been a little depressed. You see, he just found out he is a dog not a human. So sad. He pretty much ignored Tayden for the first few weeks we had him home. Well, the past two weeks or so he has really started to take interest in the little guy. Just last week Tayden was laying on the flooring kicking and stretching when Tanner brought over 'Polly' (his favorite toy) and laid it next to Tayden. He started barking as though to say "Hey kid, play with me". It was pretty funny. Yesterday, I laid Tayden on the couch for just a minute. The next thing I know, Tanner is curled up next to him. Before I knew it they were taking a nap together. I have to say it was pretty sweet. I couldn't miss the kodak moment. Tanner is quite the 'big brother'!

Flash Back

My mother-in-law, Cheryl, being the wise women she is, saved some of Scotts outfits from his baby days. She was kind enough to give them to Tayden. I had a lot of fun dressing up my baby in daddy's old clothes. Tayden looks just like Scott, so I can only imagine how cute he would have been in the same little clothes. Tayden was a trouper as Mommy tugged and pulled at him, changed outfits and posed him in different positions for about an hour. Towards the end of it he was getting pretty tired. Poor Guy. The first outfit he wasn't feeling the camera to much. In fact, everytime I talked to him, he just looked away. The other two he started to warm up. Cute kid. I hope you enjoy a little our little man's photo shoot as much as I do! Thanks Grandma Packard. (p.s-Sorry about the formatting on this one...it is kind of funny. I worked on it for like an hour, and still couldn't get it to come out right. Make sure you scroll on the way to the end to see all the pictures!)

This was Cheryl's favorite outfit. It was so cute. Man, I am sure glad for the person who invented onesies though. This is just a little shirt with no snaps...yikes. I had to try to get it to fit down in the overalls and then stay there. Trying to do that on a wiggler like Tayden was no easy task. Not to mention the shirt was a little short on Tayden. (My fault, I waited to long to put him in it) I would get one side all tucked in and looking good and move to the other side just to see all my hard work on the first side dissolve. It was an interesting experience to say the least! My hat goes off to all the pre-onesie mothers.

I'm loving the rainbow stripes! This outfit was a little to big for Tayden, but I didn't want to take the chance of him outgrowing it. I swear he grows like a weed. Too cute!

He started getting just too tired.

And even more tired.

I love this little blue hoodie. My boy is so handsome in baby blue.

MoHawk Man

I gave Tayden a bath this morning and decided it would be fun to give him a mohawk with the little hair he has. I couldn't decide on what picture to post, so I posted them all. Some are easier to see the mohawk then others and some are just plain cute.

Deep in Thought. Or as Scott would say, "Look he's thinking!"

This shows it really well! Awesome.

This is a funny picture. My little poser man. I think its a Kevin James (Doug from King of Queens) face.

Another good one.

Boise

This past weekend we were able to go to Boise to see my brother and his family. They moved so he could learn how to become a lineman. He is the one who climbs the power poles and fixes the equipment. Scary stuff. Anyway, this is the farthest I have ever been from my family and it has been rough. I was so excited to see all of them! I have definitely come to appreciate them more then ever!
Tayden and me at the Hotel. This is my favorite little outfit, I had to show it off.

We went to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate Coda's 4th Birthday. We had a lot of fun. In fact, I don't know who had more fun, Coda or Scott!

Gracie playing a little Skeet Ball. She would run up the lane and throw the balls straight in. I think she had the right idea.

My husband, the balla!
Where is the money Dad?

Coda was so involved playing the games, I couldn't get him to look at me for the pictures. Thats okay, he walked away with loads of tickets!

All the cousins. They loved Baby Tayden and were so good with him.

Gracie wanted to be the baby again, so we let her. Funny Girl!

The cutest little boy ever!

A little more of Tayden

Scott was so proud of this picture (he took it), and practically begged me to put it on the blog. But I have to agree with him...it is pretty darn cute. Tayden has a huge smile when he is a "a little gassy".

Wow! I finally learned how to do two pictures in one post. I might be getting the hang of this blogging thing. Anyway, this is our precious man sleeping. So calm and peaceful. I love it!

Off to church!

We took Tayden to church for the first time yesterday. He was the perfect little man. He slept most of the time and was just content to look around when he was awake. I had to wake up about 45 minutes earlier than normal so we could make it out the door on time. Church is at 9:00...that made it a challenge. However, even with Tater, we were actually early! We even had time to snap this picture. My two handsome boys. I love how Tayden is looking at Scott! As you can see, Tayden has gained some weight...he has quite the little double chin. He gained 10 1/2 ounces last week. He is a growing boy.
