Sweet Hearts

Seventeen

 Seventeen! My mind can not comprehend that my oldest child is SEVENTEEN. I love it and hate it all at once. I was talking to Tayden about golfing next summer, and he said, "Mom, I'll be on a mission next summer!" My heart broke into a million pieces. Some from pride, others from sheer sadness. I love this boy. He's had the best 17 years of fishing lines, football dreams, and just enough teasing to keep us on our toes. Watching him grow and figure out life has been among my greatest pleasures. I thank God for him every day. 

The Big Fifteen

Beckett turned 15! He's my favorite 15-year-old. I'm so proud of who he is and who he's becoming. He is kind and always keeps me laughing. And we can't forget about the hugs. He gives the best hugs!! 

I don't know how we got so lucky to call him ours, but I'll take it! 

 

After School

My very favorite part of being a teacher is how often I get to see Kyle. He comes into my room multiple times a day to say hi and I love it. He had a project due a few weeks ago and spent the afternoon in my classroom while I worked. I feel so blessed to have this job. 

 

School Puppies

Nothing better than getting puppy snuggles at school! Scotts lucky we didn't end up with three dogs that day! 

 

Teacher Cache

 Cache was ordained to the office of a Teacher. Our parents came to support him in the ordination, which made the day even more special. 

Luna the Blind

It's not very often that our blind pup feels comfortable enough to cuddle on the couch. This night she did and Scott and I were taking advantage. At nine years old, Luna is a senior. She's old and blind, but we love her just the same and pray for more years with her.
