Two Ordinations

Today, Tayden was ordained to the office of a Priest and Beckett to the office of a Teacher and Cache was set apart as the 2nd counselor in the deacons quorum. It was a great day and we had lots of support. I'm grateful for our families who are always there for these important days! 

 

You Tube Mechanic

Scott and Tayden (and sometimes Beckett) have been playing YouTube mechanics to fix Tayden's car. It's been a long process, but they fixed the tie rods and CV axles on both sides, and the car is working again! I love my handyman husband! 

 

Risk

 I was craving some serious family time, so Scott introduced the boys to his favorite board game, Risk. Not all of them (Tayden) were thrilled to be there but we ended up having lots of fun. In fact, the next game is on deck and the boys are planning their strategies. 

 

Beauty and The Beast

My mom got us tickets to Beauty and the Beast at the Hale Center Theatre. She was supposed to come with us, but got sick and couldn't attend. We missed her a lot, but we really enjoyed the play. It was fun doing something different and spending the day together. 

 

In His Name Two

This year, we tied blankets for the Ronald McDonald House for our family service project. We documented the process and made it into a book to give to my parents for Christmas. Making blankets was really great. The boys each picked the fabric for their blankets and tied them before we delivered them. I love giving them the opportunity to serve and they felt the difference they were making. As we left Kyle said, "I'm not leaving empty-handed. I'm leaving knowing that we made a difference."
