Cache had another belt promotion and this one felt extra exciting because Cache is finally a blueberry! Meaning, he has a blue uniform and a blue belt. During his first week in Taekwondo, he talked about becoming a blueberry and now is so happy to be one himself.

Thrifting Trend
I've seen this Halloween painting trend, all over the internet. The idea is to thrift an old painting and turn it into a Halloween painting by putting in ghosts and other Halloween items. I decided to try my hand at it. I'm pretty happy with it, I think it turned out pretty darn cute!
Big Elk Creek
Some friends and I went on a hike last week to see the fall colors. It was beautiful! And it's a good thing, because the hike was grueling. When we first discussed this hike, one friend thought it was a pretty flat, even walk. So 10.4 miles didn't sound too bad. However, it ended up being lots of ups and downs, crossing streams, edging along rock cliffs and tons of mud. It was hard. And the worse part was, when we got to the end of the trail, all that was there was a post marker. Not a lake, nor an amazing view, just a post. We died laughing.
Even through the hike was hard, it was beautiful and so much fun spending the day with good friends. I love being outdoors and its even better doing it people I love!

Coda in College
My brother's son, Coda, came from Texas to attend BYU-I. We had him over for dinner before he and Tayden went fishing. They came back and we had ice cream while he finished his homework. He, the boys, and Scott stayed up too late playing the Xbox, so he crashed on our couch for the night. It was so fun having him in our home and I can't wait to see him more over the next year!
Early Morning Workout
Every morning, I wake up at 5:00 and hit the gym. Last Monday, Beckett didn't have school and asked if he could come. It was a lot of fun lifting weights with him! Luckily for him, he got to go home and go back to bed. I love this child!

Welcome Home, Dad
Scott spent the week in Dallas for work and brought home the boys all sorts of fun goodies. We all sat in my room looking at his swag and chatting about his week. For 30 minutes, we stayed up too late, laughed with each other, and enjoyed being back together as a family. These are the moments I live for!

Competing Cousins
Every year Beckett looks forward to playing my cousin's son, Makoy. They have played each other for the past four years and after every game, they always chat about the game and tell each other good job. Its really the best thing!
