Mat and Savana

Scott surprised me with an early Christmas gift this year and took me to the Mat and Savana Shaw Christmas concert in Salt Lake. Mat and Savana are a daddy-daughter duo that I've been following since covid. I really love their music and Scott didn't miss a beat when he order tickets.

The concert was great, but it was so awesome spending the whole day with my husband. We haven't been able to do that for a long time and it was wonderful. I love this man of mine so much. I don't remember life without him. He is part of me and to get him all to myself filled my cup.

This concert was also a testament to the village we have around us that is willing to help and love our kids. My parents took the two littles and played with them all day. Dave and Cheryl took the older boys and played chauffeur getting Beckett to his basketball tournament in Pocatello, spoiling them both between games. Then, the Snarrs brought them back home after the tournament. They fed both boys and let Beckett hang out while Tayden went to a Christmas party with friends. Our day would not have been possible without the help of others.

Tan Man

Tanner is 15 years old! Some days he gets lost around the house, others he's spry as a pup. Either way, our time is limited with him. He finally figured out that the little kids aren't that bad, and often snuggles into them for a good cuddle. It's too bad it happened so late in his life. We love our old man.

Ocean Clouds

Beckett and I saw these amazing clouds on our walk the other day. We decided they looked like ocean wave clouds and deserved a permanent spot on the blog.

Snow Globe

The other night, all the brothers were gone and it was just me and Kyle. I asked what he wanted to do and he immediately said wanted to make a snow globe. It was so fun spending one on one time with him! He said, "This is way better than being a lazy slug and watching TV". I agree. I love this little man!

Taydens Basketball

Tayden has played a great basketball team this season with a lot of his good friends. These boys are the best group of kids and I love them all so much. Tayden grew a lot as a player this year and will be trying out for the seventh-grade team in a couple of weeks. I am sure proud of my oldest.

Homemade Pizza

Every Friday is pizza night at the Packard house. It's one night a week that I don't have to worry about and it has turned into a fun tradition for the kids. This Friday, Cache wanted to do homemade pizza and it turned out awesome. Christmas music was blasting, kids were laughing, and I could not have loved the evening more. I could have stayed in that moment forever!

David Archuleta

Scott wins stuff on the radio all the time. His latest win was tickets to the David Archulata Christmas Concert in Pocatello. It wasn't Scotts favorite, but man I loved it!!
