Today was such a special day. Scott ordained Cache to the office of a deacon. Cache has been waiting to pass the sacrament for months, so today could not have come soon enough. I can't believe I have three boys that hold the Aaronic Priesthood. It's an amazing privilege. I hope that Scott and I can raise them so they understand the importance of the Priesthood and their roles within our ward. I am so proud of them and so excited to watch Cache as he learns and grows.

Basketball Buddies
Basketball at Hillcrest High School is a community/social event. So when Tayden had a game the other night, we stayed to watch the JV game. Cache didn't have any friends at the particular game, so you can imagine how happy I was to see him hanging out with Beckett and his friends. Beckett isn't always the most patient with Cache, so watching them hang out was awesome!
Star Light Skating
Kyle got rollerblades for Christmas and has been asking to go skating ever since. I took him and Cache and we had the best time. Cache was new to skating, but once he got the hang of it, he loved it. I even put some blades on and went on the floor with them. We skated and laughed the night away. Even though, initially, I didn't want to go, I'm glad we got to spend the evening together.
Church Ball and Blades
I took Beckett to the church to play some basketball. Cache and Kyle tagged along. Ky brought his new rollerblades and let Cache use them. Watching the littlest brother teach his older brother how to rollerblade was the cutest thing. Kyle walked Cache all over the gym with his arm around his waist, making sure he didn't fall. They are the best buddies! It's so sweet.
New Years Eve
We woke up on New Year's Eve Day feeling less than stellar. We had been fighting a cold for a few days, but it hit Scott and me in full force (turned out to be Covid) on Dec.31 and ruined our New Year plans. I was pretty bummed, but we made the best of it. We stayed home, played a few games, watched some shows, and ate ice cream. The older boys went to bed early and Scott and I stayed up with the littles. It wasn't what we had planned, but if I have to do it with anyone, I'm glad its with these guys!
Sleepy Teens
Lots of Christmas break was full of relaxing downtime.
The two olders took advantage of the break.
I love these sleepy teens.
