Kyle Proof

When we got Sully, the breeder told us he was bombproof. The real question though, is "Is he Kyle proof?" Luckily, the answer is yes.

Scott and the Dogs

If Scott ever tells you he doesn't love the dogs....

He's lying.

Scott Plays the Switch

We got the kids a Switch for Christmas. It's a video game console and the boys have been teaching Scott how to play. It's kind of the best!

Belt Promotion

Cache had another belt promotion. He moved from a yellow belt to a camo belt. He is officially out of the beginners class and is now in the intermediate class. Its been a big change and he is learning a lot in the new class. Its been fun watching him excel in a sport that we knew nothing about, but have learned to love.

Mother In Laws

Cheryl brings Grandma Great (Donna Packard) to Idaho Falls every few weeks to the eye doctor. When they come, we always grab lunch together. I always look forward to this lunch date! None of us are blood-related, we are only family through marriage, but we are family still the same. We are three generations of in-laws and I cherish these relationships. I love that Scott has given me these two sweet women who have enriched my life so much. It's so neat to me that Donna welcomed Cheryl into the family and taught her Packard traditions. Now, Cheryl has welcomed me into the family and is teaching me how to be a Packard as well. And one day, I'll welcome in a daughter-in-law, and I'll do it well because of these ladies. It's just the neatest relationship and one that we each choose and put work into. I love these women!

Family Talent Night

Kyle orchestrated a talent night for the family last week. We drew partners and put on a little skit or show. Dad and Beckett did a trust nerf shot, which was quite entertaining. Cache and Tayden did a handshake, as did Kyle and me. I love doing things together as a family, and I love that Kyle wanted to do it even more.

Ice Fishing

Grandpa Packard made Taydens dreams come true and took him ice fishing! Scott, the other boys, and Uncle Matt went too. They had a great time, caught lots of fish, and can't wait to go again. Even Cache, who was a little hesitant to go, had a blast. I love that they made these memories together.
