Texas 5 6 7

The fun just keeps going!! Tuesday definitely did not disappoint. Echo and I woke up early and headed to Waco to check out Magnolia. It was super fun!! Expensive, but fun and its a check off the bucket list. And any extra one on one time with Echo is marvelous.

When we got home, Justin had a surprise for the kids. Needless to say, they loved it.

We rested the afternoon in preparation for the Texas Rangers game. The kids, and us, loved it. We sat up quite high, which was awesome, but made Beckett a little nervous. He is scared of heights, but he over came his fear with the help of Uncle Justin and sat at the very tip top. I’ll tell you what, he’s the best uncle there is.

Wednesday we headed to the movie. But it wasn’t a normal movie theater. The seats were recliners! It was a blast.

Today we went to the worlds largest gas station. Okay, not worlds, but the biggest we’ve ever been to. It was as large as any grocery store. It was awesome.

We ended the day with an activity just for the kids. A giant indoor playground.

My favorite part of the day was eating dinner and watching Coda do magic tricks for the little kids. Kyle loves him so much.

We head home tomorrow. This trip has been unbelievable. We’ve done so many fun things, but spending time with my family has been incredible. We miss them so much.

Texas 2 3 4

Texas has been awesome!! We spent day 2 driving and again the kids were great. We stopped at Raising Canes Chicken for dinner. Scott has been waiting for some Canes since our Vegas days so we was pumped. Then we got a hotel for the night. We swam, watched a little TV in bed, tried to sleep in and had a relaxing morning of continental breakfast and cartoons. We got into Dallas in Day 3 around 1:00. We watched Gracie play some volleyball and hung out at the Mennear’s house. The boys were excited to go crawfishing and even caught a baby turtle while they were at it.

Today, we went to the Dallas Aqaurium and had a great time. The boys love love loved it. But we loved the company even more. Kyle has taken to Coda quite a bit and refused to hold anyone’s hand unless the other hand is holding Coda’s. And true to past, Cache is buddying up with Gracie. These older cousins are just the best. And everyone loves Aunt Echo time.

Texas 1

We are road tripping to Texas!! The first day was great. We put in 720 miles and spent about 12 hours traveling, stops included. The kids did phenomenal. Seriously, they were so good. No fighting, yelling, or anything of that sort. They were rockstars and I could not have been more proud. The biggest entertainment hit was the bubble gum and wiki sticks. We let them watch a show the last two hours, but they was mostly to give Dad a quiet break. Although, they loved it and thought it was so fun to watch a movie in the car.

Beckett brought crafting stuff in the car and made an awesome hat for monkey.

We stayed the night in Colorado Springs. It was hard for me to drive through Denver. It reminded me so much of Las Vegas.

The first leg of this trip has really affirmed how much I love our stage of life. The boys have been old enough to sit in the car and help their little brothers. And go to the bathroom together, and lay down in their hotel beds when we’ve told them to. They can eat in the car and we aren’t stopping for nursing babies or poopy diapers. Everyone can walk and mostly keep up. It’s just been really pleasant.
