Two Good Days

Sunday and Monday were great this week! First, we got to go back to church on Sunday. It was wonderful!! Different, but so wonderful. Even the kids loved it! We all wore masks for a short sacrament meeting. Our ward was split into two groups, so the attendance was about half than normal. We were sat every other bench and instead of singing the hymns, we just listened to the piano. We will only go once a month for now, but I'm crossing my fingers it won't last too long. The upside is...the gospel is still true. Things looked different, but the sacrament was still the same. The building was still dedicated and still full of the spirit. And we showed our kids that we take church seriously and the sacrament is priority.

Monday was my birthday and I was spoiled. Scott stayed home and helped around the house. He went on a walk with me, watched the kids while I lunched with friends and let me lay in bed and read the afternoon away. It was complete bliss. And if that wasn't enough, he threw a little party for me that even with party hats and all. Scott even got me bite size desserts! Its taken us a couple of years to get birthdays right, but he hit the nail on the head this year. It was perfect!!
